Access Psych offers qualified face-to-face and telehealth mental health support services to address a wide range of mental health issues and concerns. Job Requirements

We are looking for registered psychologists or accredited mental health social workers who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including workers' compensation schemes, employee assistance programs, and Medicare clients.


This is a part-time role that involves working with individuals to help them navigate challenges related to work-related injuries, stress, pain management, and other occupational issues. You will play a crucial role in making a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical professionals, case managers, and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;
  • Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;

Qualifications

Joining our team requires meeting certain qualifications and requirements:


General and Provisional Psychologist Registered with AHPRA; or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – AASW;


Willingness to obtain relevant accreditations, including NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and WorkSafe Victoria accreditations;


Permanent residency in Australia;


Passion for improving lives through work and health;


Interest and willingness to work with workers' compensation clients.
