Community Development Manager

We are seeking a Community Development Manager to lead and manage a team of professionals in achieving community development objectives.

About the Role
  • To develop and implement projects that promote community engagement and participation.
  • Conduct research and gather data to inform decision-making and policy development.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Place Makers and an Activity Centre Activation Officer.
  • Develop project proposals and work plans aligned with organisational goals.
  • Coordinate community events and activities to build stronger and connected communities.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Sciences/Planning, Crime Prevention, or another relevant discipline.
  • Satisfactory National Police Check.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence or equivalent.
  • Employee Working with Children's Check (if applicable).
