Are you a mental health professional looking for a new challenge?
">We have an exciting opportunity available in Northern Queensland, where you can work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your lifestyle.
This role involves delivering high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services, as well as engagement and educational activities within the community.
You will travel to various culturally diverse communities across the region, working with a broad range of clients, including children and adults, older persons, people with drug and alcohol issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and autonomously.
You will also need to have high-level communication and negotiation skills to establish and support respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, staff and the community at large.
Suitable professions include Registered Psychologists, Mental Health Certified Nurses, Mental Health Accredited Social Workers and Mental Health Occupational Therapists.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll receive an excellent starting salary ranging from $76,000 to $97,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services
- Engage and educate the community on mental health issues
- Travel to various culturally diverse communities across the region
- Work with a broad range of clients, including children and adults
- Establish and support respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, staff and the community
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- AASW (if applying as a Social Worker)
- Seasoned candidates are encouraged to apply
Benefits:
- An excellent starting salary ranging from $76,000 to $97,000
