We are an Australian Government-funded Rural Locum Assistance Program (Rural LAP) for health and aged care services administered by Aspen Medical. Our program offers the unique opportunity to explore our beautiful country and lend a helping hand to alleviate aged care workforce shortages in rural areas.

Job Overview

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be providing individualised and personalised care to residents in a countryside or outback setting. You will work closely with an experienced team to maintain and enhance the dignity, integrity, rights, and confidentiality of residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Providing individualised and personalised care to residents
  • Maintaining and enhancing the dignity, integrity, rights, and confidentiality of residents and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care, and Disability, or studying a nursing degree with completed aged care placement
  • Previous experience working as a Personal Care Worker
  • Current Australian driver's license
  • Current First Aid Certificate
What We Offer

You will receive an hourly wage plus superannuation, an incentive of $150 per working day, and a $100 travel allowance. We also arrange and pay for your travel and accommodation.
