We are seeking a highly skilled Control Room Operator to join our team, working on day shifts out of our Orchard Hills facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to our mission of making Australia waste-free.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load inspection through PTZ camera on the floor, identifying non-conforming waste and ensuring oversized materials are removed from the main stockpile.
  • Allocate materials to the correct tipping locations.
  • Manage the tip floor process, ensuring accurate material codes and adherence to procedures.
  • Complete Customer Load Assessment Forms for extra charges and verify material being tipped matches the quoted docket.
  • Ensure floor processes and procedures are in place and being followed during floor operations.
  • Coordinate and manage the transfer of materials to and from MPC tip floors, including landfill waste, green waste, oversized timber, and oversized concrete.
  • Coordinate and manage tip floor operations and truck tipping to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders via 2-way radio and face-to-face interactions.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating CCTV and/or monitoring systems.
  • Previous stakeholder relationship development and management.
  • Assertive communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Current driver's license and own transport recommended.
