Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Maintenance Person to join our client's team, responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs while implementing and maintaining 6S principles. If you have a proven track record of handyman work and knowledge of 6S, we'd love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine tasks on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Inspections and Reporting: Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and provide detailed reports on necessary repairs.
- 6S Implementation: Implement and maintain 6S principles in the workplace to promote efficiency and safety.
- Workspace Setup and Organization: Assist with setting up and organizing workspaces to enhance productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Cleaning and Painting: Clean common areas using designated equipment and paint factory safety lines and new equipment as required.
- Supporting Contractors: Collaborate with contractors to set up work areas safely and efficiently.
- Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
- 6S Knowledge: Familiarity with 6S principles and their application in the workplace.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, adapting to changing situations.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
What We Offer:
A full-time position working Monday-Friday, 07:30am-4:00pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $33.71 per hour.
