Fire Safety Program Manager
At American Express, we're committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our colleagues and customers. As a Fire Safety Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our fire safety programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining documentation and administrative tracking of all fire safety programs and activities at AXP facilities.
- Assuring AXP facilities are compliant with all local fire safety laws and ordinances.
- Managing emergency and non-emergency fire drills and inspections at designated facilities.
- Inspecting fire prevention, fire safety, and emergency action plans at facilities.
- Serving as the primary company representative to the local fire department.
Requirements
- Extensive operational experience in Occupational Fire Safety, Fire Prevention, Emergency Response or a similar-like role.
- Knowledge and understanding of emergency response training and planning.
- General understanding of fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems.
- Ability to facilitate, train, and lead large groups of people.
- Excellent computer skills, with thorough working knowledge of programs like Slack, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
