Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst

We are seeking an experienced credit analyst to lead credit reviews, analyse client credit risk, and ensure creditworthiness.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing client portfolio credit analysis, accountable for spreading financials, proposing credit grades aligned to scorecards, and documenting client risk and mitigants.

You will partner with Banking, Coverage, and Risk teams to develop and execute credit analysis, origination, and monitoring relevant matters, deliver client fraud risk assessments to defined standards, and provide credit intelligence to identify business opportunities with an acceptable risk profile.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading credit reviews and analysing client credit risk
  • Providing client portfolio credit analysis
  • Accountable for spreading financials and proposing credit grades
  • Partnering with Banking, Coverage, and Risk teams
  • Delivering client fraud risk assessments
  • Providing credit intelligence to identify business opportunities

You will also be responsible for providing credit analysis with consideration for market dynamics and client industry, including:

  • Industry risks and client competitive positioning
  • Client funding strategy and financial policies
  • Cash flow and liquidity analysis
  • Reputational risk profile
Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Risk management lifecycle experience
  • Financial forecasting and modelling skills
  • Financial and quantitative skills
  • Knowledge of client behaviours and preferences
  • Product knowledge for Markets, Transaction Banking, and Corporate Finance
  • Data analysis and visualisation skills
