Job Description

As the Senior Producer at Moving Picture Company, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of production and creative professionals to effectively deliver a project on time and on budget.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a show from bidding through to scheduling, resource planning, and budget management. In tandem with the VFX Supervisor, you will act as the face of MPC to our clients, responsible for delivering the expected service standard.

By managing a diverse group of people and fostering strong team bonds, you will identify any project issues, risks, or requirements to ensure suitable solutions are identified and actioned to maintain delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Bid Management: Develop and manage project bids to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Project P&L Management: Oversee project profitability and ensure that financial targets are met.
  • Direct Labour Target: Manage direct labour costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Margin Target: Achieve and maintain target margins on all projects.
  • EFF% Target: Monitor and improve efficiency percentages to reduce costs and improve productivity.
  • Competency Profile - Lead, KA, A: Develop and maintain a competency profile for team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Change Order Management: Manage change orders and ensure that they are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Production Schedule Oversight: Oversee the production schedule to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Resource Cost Management: Manage resource costs to ensure that they are optimized and aligned with project requirements.
  • Schedule Milestones: Identify and manage key milestones in the production schedule to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
  • Quota Attainment and Weekly Targets: Monitor and manage quota attainment and weekly targets to ensure that team members are meeting their performance goals.
  • Trailer, Temp, and Stage Approvals: Manage approvals for trailers, temps, and stages to ensure that they are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Creative Leadership Management: Provide creative leadership and guidance to team members to ensure that they are delivering high-quality work.
  • Management of VFX Supervisors, CG, Comp, and Animation Supervisors: Manage a team of VFX Supervisors, CG, Comp, and Animation Supervisors to ensure that they are delivering high-quality work.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships to ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Production Side Client Management: Manage client relationships on the production side to ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Client Review Success and Client Review Staging: Manage client reviews to ensure that they are successful and that clients are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Show Artist Communication: Manage communication with show artists to ensure that they are aware of project requirements and deadlines.
  • Follow and Ensure Any Direct Reports Comply with Approved Processes and Procedures: Ensure that direct reports are following approved processes and procedures.
