Job Title: Advice Support Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as an Advice Support Officer. As the primary point of contact for members seeking financial advice, you will be responsible for triaging member requests, determining the most suitable advice pathway, and coordinating the entire advice journey.

  • Receiving and prioritizing member advice requests through our service center
  • Determining appropriate advice types and service packages tailored to individual member needs
  • Scheduling appointments and preparing comprehensive client files using our XPLAN system
  • Coordinating implementation of agreed advice strategies, including applications and follow-up
  • Supporting our financial planning team with CRM administration and training
  • Contributing to member seminars and workplace presentations

As an Advice Support Officer, you will work closely with both members and financial planners, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery throughout the advice process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Previous administrative experience in a corporate environment, ideally within financial services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines consistently
  • Experience with financial planning software (XPLAN knowledge particularly beneficial)
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to excellent customer service

Essential qualifications include:

  • Completed or currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning
  • Kaplan Generic Knowledge + Tier 1 Superannuation — General Advice (or similar from another provider)
  • Diploma of Financial Planning or Superannuation (CPD Maintained)
