
Expert Speech Pathologist Opportunity

This position offers a unique blend of clinical work and leadership responsibilities. As a Speech Pathologist Level 3, you will be responsible for delivering outreach services to the Merriwa and Denman Multipurpose Services. Your expertise will be utilised in working with adults and children on swallowing and communication needs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical reasoning skills, initiative, and a flexible mindset. You will be passionate about mentoring peers, managing a varied caseload, and finding creative ways to support clients. This role combines hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, providing an opportunity for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Outreach Speech Pathology Services: Provide expert speech pathology services to the Merriwa and Denman Multipurpose Services, focusing on adults and children with swallowing and communication needs.
- Mentorship and Supervision: Offer guidance and support to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Quality Improvement Projects: Lead initiatives that aim to improve client and community outcomes, leveraging your expertise and passion for quality improvement.
- Ongoing Clinical Supervision: Engage in regular supervision sessions to ensure you remain up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology, which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Eligibility to Drive: Be eligible to drive in NSW.
