Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate leader to serve as an Assistant Minister in our vibrant and growing church community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve on the church leadership team, providing guidance and support to our congregation.
  • Lead morning congregations through preaching and teaching.
  • Develop and lead a team of Bible Study group leaders, equipping them to effectively disciple others.
  • Foster a culture of prayer within our congregation, encouraging members to deepen their relationship with God.
  • Promote evangelism efforts, empowering our members to share the Good News with others.
  • Identify and train members for ministry roles, both voluntary and full-time.

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of theological training, a deep commitment to Christ and His people, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

As an Assistant Minister, you will receive a stipend or salary according to Sydney Diocesan recommendations based on your qualifications and experience. Housing or a housing allowance will also be provided.
