About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Accountant Associate 1 to join our Global Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing various Australian Tax reporting packages for clients, maintaining records in our systems, and ensuring timely delivery of client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare periodic Tax distributions and Tax provision calculations
  • Reconcile accounting records
  • Ensure allocated client reporting is completed and submitted for review on a timely basis
  • Maintain records on taxation systems
  • Liaise with internal teams to obtain information where required
  • Establish a strong working relationship with managers and peers within State Street
  • Coordinate distribution of Tax distributions and Tax provision calculations
  • Test new applications and distribution templates
  • Identify and resolve issues as they arise
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and possess strong problem-solving and resolution skills
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word)
  • Superior attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Taxation services experience highly regarded though not essential
