Job Title: Lift Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Mechanic to join our team at 11 Recruitment. As a Lift Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and moving walkways to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and testing on elevator systems to identify mechanical, electrical, or control issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn components in lifts and escalators.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately execute lift installations and repairs.
  • Assemble, install, and commission various types of elevators, including hydraulic, traction, machine-room-less, and vacuum elevators.
  • Ensure efficient operation of elevator controllers, including solid-state logic, relay-based, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and construction workers, to coordinate lift installation and modernization projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, providing regular updates on lift performance, repairs, and modifications to clients or supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Lift Mechanic.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to use tools to carry out necessary repairs.
Salary and Benefits:

The role offers a remuneration package of $70,000 - $100,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
