Job Title: Senior Principal Structural Engineer

The Senior Principal Structural Engineer plays a pivotal role in solving complex engineering problems that impact business outcomes. This specialist possesses a broad base of knowledge about structural engineering functions and contributes to the direction and resource allocation of programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Analysis and Design: Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design as per project specifications and industry standards.
  • Apply expertise to address non-standard situations and complex engineering problems.
  • Manage time effectively to meet objectives and plan resource requirements.
  • Communicate and explain difficult engineering concepts to persuade others.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering with relevant specializations.
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consulting firms.
  • Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
  • Good knowledge of engineering software and English language proficiency.

Skills Required
  • Strong foundation in structural analysis and design.
  • Expertise in multiple design codes (EC, ACI/AISC/API, GOST, etc.).
  • Familiarity with geotechnical, steel, concrete, dynamic calculations, FEM, fatigue calculations, earthquake, jackets, FPSOs, blast, hydrodynamics, and architectural designs.
