The NSW Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI) Program

The TEI program operates in communities facing social and economic challenges, including disadvantage, isolation, and limited access to support services. The program has two streams: Community Strengthening initiatives and Wellbeing and Safety interventions. This role focuses on Wellbeing and Safety interventions, which build on and complement the outcomes of Community Strengthening.

About the Role

The Child Family and Community Worker - Targeted Support is a key service delivery position responsible for intake, assessment, case management, peer support, and evidence-based groupwork in the TEI Program. The successful candidate will implement the TEI program in local communities, support community stakeholders and leaders, provide updates on local program performance and outcomes, and contribute to the positive impact Intereach makes in our communities.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have community connectedness, case management, and groupwork skills, working with cultural diversity, trauma-informed practice, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of parents and children. This role requires a team member based in Corowa, Albury, or Wagga Wagga who is passionate about working with children, young people, and their parents.
