Calvary Launceston is seeking experienced anaesthetic and recovery nurses to join our team in theatre. We offer permanent full-time, part-time, and casual positions, Monday to Friday surgical lists.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills and work in a supportive team environment. As an anaesthetic and recovery nurse, you will work closely with anaesthetists to provide excellent patient care, facilitate communication with key stakeholders, and ensure appropriate and comprehensive documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with anaesthetists to provide excellent patient care.
- Facilitate communication with key stakeholders.
- Ability to recognise and respond to deteriorating patients.
- Assess and provide multimodal analgesia.
- Ensure appropriate and comprehensive documentation.
- Experience in anaesthetic and perioperative nursing.
- Advanced Life support and Paediatric Life support certificates desirable but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well as a team and individually.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
