Group Manager Position

The Role:

The role involves optimising the performance of the segment by ensuring performance targets, continuous improvement, and organisational objectives are met while providing high-level support to the Recovery Independence team.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic direction, performance, and sustainability of the specialist team.
  • Oversee and deliver an efficient customer-centric operating model.
  • Ensure the team achieves performance and KPI targets.
  • Utilise customer satisfaction and the customer experience, identifying opportunities to enhance communication and services.
  • Identify and evaluate individual and organisational development needs, delivering individual and group learning and development programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage and oversee budget expenditure, conducting regular reviews against plan.
  • Maximise performance revenue.

About You:

  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience within a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of state Workers Compensation legislation and associated regulations and guidelines.
  • Sound analytical skills.
  • People management skills, including team building, coaching, performance management, and change management.
  • Successful track record in achieving business objectives.
