Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, participate in, and contribute to process improvements while consulting relevant teams for implementation.
  2. Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and Quality requirements, mitigating risks and enhancing performance.
  3. Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback while fostering collaboration.
  4. Plan, coordinate, and oversee production activities to meet schedules, quality standards, and business objectives.
  5. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth operations.
  6. Monitor, analyse, and report production performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • A recognised certificate III in Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing.
  • Experience in supervision of small teams.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
