Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst- CDC with 8-10 years of experience in the Electric Utility Sector, covering Generation and Transmission. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Grid SCADA, WAMS, AGC, and Advanced Energy Management Systems, with hands-on experience in GE e-Terra product suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake requirements gathering, data and process mapping, and modeling to enable key business needs to be translated into technical specifications.
- Lead and own responsibility for providing functional and non-functional analysis to support the development of business processes and system use cases.
- Develop business processes and system use cases, and create As-Is and To-Be business process documents.
- Participate in review of test cases and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of Grid SCADA, WAMS, AGC, and Advanced Energy Management Systems.
- Hands-on experience in GE e-Terra product suite.
- Strong knowledge of grid operations and market operations processes.
Preferred:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Leadership skills to lead assessment workshops and work with other stakeholders.
Additional:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power System Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Electric Utility Sector, covering Generation and Transmission.
