Job Title: Contract Trainer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Contract Trainer to join our dynamic team at Stirling Institute of Australia. As a Contract Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic training to students, supporting them through their pathway, and marking their assignments.

About the Role:

As a Contract Trainer, you will be working with students who are pursuing a Certificate III in Individual Support. This qualification is one of our most popular programs, and our trainers play a crucial role in delivering hands-on, dynamic training to students from diverse backgrounds and demographics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver dynamic training to students, supporting them through their pathway and marking their assignments.
  • Work with students to complete 120 hours of industry work placement, as placed by Stirling's Work Placement Coordinators.
  • Encourage students as they complete their qualification, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Meet Stirling's compliance requirements, including completing attendance registers and supporting surveys.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and significant work experience in Individual Support or related industry.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification.
  • Passion to train and motivate others.
  • Ability to deliver dynamic engaging training.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer/email/Zoom/internet skills.
  • Drivers license and own reliable transport.
  • Working with Children Check and ability to take out public liability insurance.
