Project Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support our Grid Scale projects throughout the project development and execution phases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating photovoltaic designs for solar farms in AutoCAD, completing energy resource assessments and yield analyses in PVSyst, and preparing technical documentation and schedules for project deployment and assessment.

This role also involves liaison with independent engineering consultants to facilitate financial close of projects and ensuring full responsibility for engineering activities on assigned projects.

As a member of our engineering team, the Project Engineer will collaborate closely with other project engineers and professionals while supporting the wider Development and EPC Team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed photovoltaic designs for solar farms using AutoCAD software.
  • Perform energy resource assessments and yield analyses using PVSyst.
  • Prepare technical documentation and schedules for project deployment and assessment.
  • Liaise with independent engineering consultants to facilitate project closings.
  • Ensure full responsibility for engineering activities on assigned projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong skills in engineering, including experience with AutoCAD and PVSyst. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective working relationships within the engineering team and with external partners.
