Coles Supermarkets offers a diverse range of opportunities to work in various roles across its 800+ stores across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member to join our dynamic team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.

As a member of our facilities maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our stores. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store.
  • Utilizing various equipment and cleaning products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors throughout the store, team rooms, toilets, and offices.
  • Cleaning, dusting, wiping, and scrubbing shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
  • Collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark – whatever the weather.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will be trusted to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while demonstrating a solid work ethic.

  • The ability to work both indoors and outdoors, independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
  • A keen eye for detail and cleanliness.
  • A passion for working safely and adhering to Coles' Safe Work practices.
  • The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a solid work ethic.
  • To be active and physically fit, with the capacity to lift up to 17kgs.
  • Availability for a wide variety of shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days per week.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience, to ensure that you are fairly rewarded for your hard work and dedication. Additionally, we provide comprehensive training in the use of chemicals, machinery, and safety equipment to support your growth and development in this role.
