Project Overview

The Ngura Ninti project is a collaborative initiative focused on creating a four-volume collection of historical documents that tell the story of Australian history from an Indigenous perspective.

This project involves collaboration with regional editors based at universities and organisations across the country, consultation with Indigenous communities, and prioritising Indigenous well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the South East regional team's efforts in documenting the history of Lutruwita (Tasmania) from the Palawa perspective.
  • Conduct historical research in archives, museums, libraries, and galleries.
  • Develop organisational skills, including autonomy, priority setting, meeting deadlines, and minimal supervision.
