Airspace Planner

The airspace planner plays a pivotal role in delivering complex airspace projects, leveraging expertise in operational procedures and design practices to drive safe and effective airspace solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, lead and support airspace initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and organisational change management when required.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to optimise airspace structure and performance by advising stakeholders on optimal airspace and flight path design solutions.
• Ensure all designs meet national safety standards while efficiently managing record systems and information.
• Conduct research into air traffic services procedures, concepts and systems to inform expert decision-making.
• Contribute to process improvements, including writing and updating standard operating procedures.

The successful applicant will possess ATC expertise, strong written skills, numerical skills and the ability to critically analyse diverse information.
