Job Overview
We are seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their dining needs in our restaurant or conference suites.
Key Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and make recommendations to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables.
- Collaborate with team members to respond to guest requests and resolve any issues professionally.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards, including responsible service of alcohol.
- Assist with event setups and functions.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, presentation, and confidence to engage with guests.
- A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as the local community.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
- Experience in restaurant, bar service, and events is highly desirable.
Work Arrangements
- The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings from 6 am, late evenings up to 10pm.
- Able to fulfill up to five shifts per week, including weekends.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Safe Food Handling qualifications (or prepared to obtain).
