Executive Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and culturally grounded leader to join our team as Chief Executive Officer. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference for Traditional Owners and lead the organisation in advancing their rights, interests, and aspirations.

The CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership, managing the organisation in line with its Rule Book. This includes leading staff, representing the interests of Traditional Owners, managing cultural heritage responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and agreements.

  • Lead day-to-day operations at the executive level, ensuring accountability, high performance, and effective coordination across staff teams.
  • Provide high-level, strategic advice to the Board of Directors, supporting sound governance and decision-making.
  • Implement strategic plans and Board directions, translating organisational goals into effective operational outcomes.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing at an executive level, with strong knowledge of the political and policy environment impacting Traditional Owners in Victoria.
  • A proven track record in leading teams, building relationships across government and community, and ensuring sound governance and management practice.
