Overview:

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance duties on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety. This role involves working under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader or production team leaders to maintain machinery and associated company equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all routine maintenance duties on electrical and mechanical equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Maintain machinery and associated company equipment to ensure high levels of safety, efficiency, quality, and company output.
  • Perform advanced trade skills in maintaining, constructing, altering, or testing equipment within various departments.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson (Electrical “A” Class) or similar qualification.
  • Completed modules in PLC Programming.
  • Practical experience with Omron and Siemens PLCs.

Working Hours:

  • Nominal minimal ordinary 38 hours per week.
  • Rotational shift work may be required. May be required to work at other locations.
  • Additional hours as required by the position, including weekends and call-outs.
