**Personal Care Assistant Wanted**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care to individuals living with disability, enhancing their lives through safe, respectful, and person-centred support.

At our organisation, we deliver person-centred support that empowers NDIS participants to live with dignity, independence, and inclusion. We value empathy, reliability, and experience in hoist-assisted personal care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide safe, respectful, and person-centred personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
  • Confidently operate hoists and other manual handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and client care plans
  • Assist clients with transfers, mobility, and daily routines, promoting dignity and independence at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided and report any changes in client wellbeing or behaviour

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability or Ageing) or a relevant qualification
  • Proven experience with manual handling and hoist use in a home or care setting
  • A compassionate, trauma-informed approach with a strong understanding of person-centred care
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle - essential for travel between clients
