Job Overview

Engineering Networks Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team in the hydraulic fluid power area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of activities across the workshop and customer base, including supporting workshop and external trades staff with their technical needs, speaking with and meeting customers to better understand their needs, and preparing work estimation and job costings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on the tools both in the workshop or on-site for around 45% of your time
  • Provide technical support to trades, sales and administration staff
  • Prepare project estimations and job costs
  • Coordinate daily work activities for trade staff
  • Liaise with clients relating to work progress
  • Identify and improve workflow and processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-year background in technical mechanical fluid power
  • Proven track record in supervision or as a workshop leading hand
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise your daily workload
  • Collaborative and team-orientated attitude
  • Mechanical trade of heavy diesel qualification
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic circuits
