Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage our procurement activities.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement operations including material and services procurement, ensuring best value is obtained for the business while balancing costs, supplier risk, quality, schedule and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Key responsibilities include aiding in the procurement elements of bids and tenders, supporting supplier evaluation and sourcing recommendations, developing supplier sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance and negotiations, and finalizing Supplier Agreements and purchase orders.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain is essential.
  • Familiarity with contract development and negotiation is required.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on commitments is crucial.
  • Previous experience with Aveva and/or Oracle is highly regarded.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain is necessary.
