About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Duratec Australia. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and developing accurate cost estimates for various construction remediation projects across the ACT and Southern NSW region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop accurate cost estimates for construction remediation projects
  • Compile accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantities
  • Assist in preparing and developing construction methodologies, programs, and submission documentation
  • Develop estimates from first principles using site productivity rates
  • Prepare risk and opportunity, including cost escalation analysis for estimates
  • Review designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives where applicable
  • Hand over detailed tenders with traceability and support into pre-contracts and delivery

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong financial and commercial acumen, high-level attention to detail, and the ability to work to set timeframes while multitasking. You will also need to have a strong interpersonal skills, confidence, professionalism, and self-motivation.
