About Ettalong Diggers

We are a large waterfront Club with various facilities including a Bistro, casual dining outlet, Cafe, function facilities, entertainment options, courtesy shuttle, and tourism centre.

We offer exciting roles in different areas across the Club, including Beverage service areas, gaming operations, and conferencing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • You may work in our Bistro and Cafe serving food and beverages to members and guests.
  • You may work in Beverage service areas pouring drinks and providing excellent customer service.
  • You may work on general duties ensuring our venue is spotlessly clean and tidy.
  • You may be responsible for promotions using a microphone and setting up events.
  • You may work within our gaming areas operating gaming machines and assisting guests.
  • You may ensure our wedding and conferencing guests are well looked after and provide tray service for drinks.
  • You will be happy to wipe over tables and chairs, push chairs in, and maintain a high level of presentation and attention to detail.
  • You may provide table service for event guests and undertake general waiting and service duties.
  • You will be able to carry three plates (Catering) and display a level of physical fitness as this role can be demanding.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate II or III Hospitality Qualifications preferred.
  • Experience in functions and conferencing desirable.
  • Previous customer service experience in food and beverage operations highly regarded.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, trustworthiness, and ability to work unsupervised with a positive attitude and commitment to your role.
  • Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team environment.
  • Flexible availability to meet operational demands, including weekends and public holidays.
