About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Lead to join our team in Norwest Business Park.

The successful candidate will lead a small team and be responsible for managing commercial agreements, relationships, and terms with suppliers and group members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, members, and the Board of Directors
  • Manage the group's financial reporting requirements, including P&L, budgets, and cash flow
  • Oversee membership communications, marketing, and events activities, as well as data from suppliers
  • Identify value-add opportunities for members and facilitate their access to economies of scale
  • Coordinate supplier negotiation meetings and provide critical data and information to the Directors
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated commercial or procurement experience, with a strong track record of managing supplier deals and rebate structures
  • Strong financial acumen, with expertise in managing P&L, budget, cash flow, and sales/revenue performance
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when interpreting and implementing trading terms
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Engaging leadership skills, with experience in advising and partnering with members and Directors
