Exciting opportunity for a Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the renewable energy sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring land for vegetation carbon project delivery, developing a pipeline of acquisition options, and facilitating our carbon strategy. As part of our project management group, you will lead negotiations from inception to completion, engage with stakeholders, and develop strong local community relationships.

  1. Develop a strategic plan for land acquisition
  2. Lead project land negotiations with legal support
  3. Engage consultants, external and internal stakeholders, and interact with councils and government agencies

About You:

You will bring experience in land acquisition, including leases, purchases, and licences, with a focus on rural or utility property assets. Your advanced communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills will enable you to build relationships with stakeholders and negotiate effectively. An understanding of regional land holdings, contract documentation, and ACCU project development is desirable.

Job Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Legal, property, land or estate management
  • Experience in property acquisition, including leases, purchases, and licences, with a focus on rural or utility property assets
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • An understanding of regional land holdings and contract documentation as they relate to ACCU project development
