Job Description:

The Clinical Lead is responsible for providing leadership to the obstetrics and gynaecology unit, driving continual improvement to the services provided. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Leveraging clinical governance principles to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Fostering effective communication with patients, relatives, and professional colleagues.
  • Driving continuous quality improvement activities within the clinical discipline.

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia and fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical governance and quality improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
