Our Ideal Candidate

We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team, reporting directly to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and building relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, CONSULTANTS, AND INTERNAL TEAMS TO FOSTER BUSINESS GROWTH AND EXCELLENCE.
  • IDENTIFY NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, INCLUDING TENDERS, PRECONSTRUCTION LEADS, AND PROSPECTIVE INFLUENCERS, TO EXPAND OUR SERVICE OFFERINGS.
  • CONTRIBUTE TO THE CREATION AND EXECUTION OF SALES STRATEGY, SUPPORT MARKETING CAMPAIGNS, AND EVENTS TO PROMOTE OUR SERVICES.
  • STAY CURRENT ON RENEWABLE ENERGY METHODOLOGIES, INDUSTRY TRENDS, AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS TO STAY AHEAD OF THE COMPETITION.
  • ATTEND INDUSTRY EVENTS, CONTRIBUTE TO COMPANY KNOWLEDGE SHARING, AND ESTABLISH NETWORKING PARTNERSHIPS TO FURTHER OUR GOALS.
  • RESPOND TO PRE-QUALIFICATION APPLICATIONS, MANAGE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST SUBMISSIONS, AND COORDINATE TENDER RESPONSES TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE.
  • TRACK, REPORT, AND ASSESS PERFORMANCE AGAINST BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TARGETS TO MEASURE SUCCESS.
  • MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OF ACTIVITIES, LEADS, AND STAKEHOLDER DETAILS IN CRM (HUBSPOT) FOR EFFICIENT DATA MANAGEMENT.

Requirements

  • UP TO 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE RENEWABLE ENERGY INDUSTRY WITH A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF THE ESTIMATING AND TENDERING PROCESS.
  • DEMONSTRATED INFLUENCING EXPERIENCE AT ALL LEVELS, WITH THE ABILITY TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS.
  • EXPERTISE IN SALES OR MANAGING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS, WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS.
  • PROVEN ABILITY TO WIN COMPETITIVE TENDERS AND DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH.
  • EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, INCLUDING PRESENTING AT SENIOR LEVELS.
  • GOOD COMPUTER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN MICROSOFT OFFICE AND ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE.
  • RELEVANT TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS IN BUSINESS OR AN ASSOCIATED FIELD.
