Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position for a customer delivery driver at Melbourne Airport Catering. We are the largest inflight catering and retail partner, delivering inflight catering and food manufacturing across 16 facilities in 10 cities with over 4,000 employees.

Our team delivers high-quality services to airlines, ensuring that our customers receive excellent support throughout their travel journey.

This role requires frequent manual handling tasks and working around flight schedules. You will be responsible for performing short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, loading and unloading trucks and aircraft, and guiding and positioning the trucks in line with company and airport policies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular driving duties within designated areas.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before use and report any discrepancies.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate communication and coordination with airline cabin crew during servicing and delivery handovers.
  • Complete administrative documentation and reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a clean current MR or HR driver's license.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Display flexibility when working around flight schedules.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Present a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
  • Be willing to undergo a national police check and obtain clearance.
  • Work 38 hours per week in a full-time permanent capacity.
