Home Care Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Adelaide, AU.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability and at least 6 months of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing home help services such as general housekeeping, making beds, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting clients to take their medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, providing social and emotional support, providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments, helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things

What we're looking for:

  • A person who enjoys having variety in their day and is passionate about providing an excellent service
  • A person who can build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • A person who is comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help
