About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Awareness Advisor to join our Cyber Security and Risk team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our Cyber Security Education and Awareness program across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive Cyber Security communications across Suncorp Group
  • Schedule and report on all Phishing simulation activities to ensure a secure and aware workforce
  • Build and maintain the User Behavioural Analytics capability to identify opportunities for targeted training and awareness initiatives
  • Drive the promotion and cultivation of a security-focused culture and mindset across the organization
  • Assist with education and awareness activities across Suncorp Group, as well as external customers and the wider Australian community
  • Contribute to the evolving Cyber Security Education and Awareness Strategy, roadmap, and calendar of events
  • Facilitate the introduction of new security technologies to positively influence cyber awareness
  • Work with Project and Delivery Managers to drive security awareness activities and implement new Security Capabilities
Requirements
  • Familiarity with Australian regulatory and legislative compliance requirements, including APRA, Privacy Act, and PCI
  • Experience in education, awareness, and change management, or related disciplines
  • Technology experience in large enterprises, preferably in the financial services sector
  • General knowledge of the tools, tactics, techniques, and processes of attackers is desirable
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Passion for Cyber Security education and awareness, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Previous experience working within an agile environment
