Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Level 3 - Dispensary Manager to join our team on a temporary full-time basis. This key position involves overseeing and coordinating pharmacy services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, and efficient medication management to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and coordination of pharmacy services within your designated area.
  • Oversight of the delivery of clinical, operational, and workforce goals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Act as a clinical leader, providing mentorship and peer supervision to junior pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Review, validate, dispense, compound, and check medicines to ensure timely and appropriate delivery of therapies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • A current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Practicing Pharmacist.
  • A high level of broad generalist and/or specialist knowledge.
  • Significant experience in clinical pharmacy services relevant to the practice area.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and organize work and caseload to meet service delivery requirements.
  • A current Australian Drivers' Licence, with ability to travel across the district and to other external sites as required.
