Job Overview

This is a key role that will assist the Project Manager in delivering projects effectively. It is suitable for individuals with experience working as a Contracts Administrator on large commercial or residential new builds.

  • Contribute to document production and project planning
  • Compile accurate scopes of work for subcontracts
  • Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project specifications
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Administer project management processes, including change control
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Solid experience working as a Contracts Administrator on large commercial / residential new builds
  • Understanding of legal issues pertaining to head contracts
  • A working knowledge of major building trades
  • Strong negotiation skills

Additional Information: This role requires a high level of autonomy, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of commercial and construction principles.
