We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of ICT Design Officer.

Job Description:

This role involves designing and developing ICT infrastructure and service components, with a focus on user experience and accessibility. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality results that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • User experience level 3 - applies standard patterns, techniques, and tools for designing ICT infrastructure and service components
  • Reviews design goals and agreed security, usability, and accessibility requirements
  • Assists in the evaluation of design options and trade-offs
  • User experience level 2 - assists in preparing and delivering the ICT infrastructure
  • Assists in the collection of feedback on prototypes and designs from users and others
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating resources and accurate recording of effort
  • Proven ability to work within a structured ICT and project management governance framework and deliver results that adhere to relevant Commonwealth standards and policies

About the Role:

This is a contract position with an initial term of 10 months, with the option to extend for a further 24 months. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site for the first 6 months, after which they will work 3 days per week from the office and 2 days per week from home.
