ILS Manager Job Description

The role of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager is to oversee and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities for a Land project. This includes developing strategies, concepts, and workforce plans to ensure seamless logistics support.

As an ILS Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and coordinating logistics activities, including procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Developing and implementing effective logistics strategies to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Providing specialist advice on logistics matters, including contract review and analysis.
  • Managing and delivering logistics artefacts, such as technical data packages and inventory reports.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 7+ years experience in Defence or a related industry, particularly on Land projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Defence Logistics systems, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
