Construction Lawyer Role

We are seeking a skilled construction lawyer to join our team as a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel.

This role offers the opportunity to work with clients across a range of construction-focused matters, collaborating with teams and providing expert legal advice.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and related agreements
  • Providing clear legal guidance to construction teams and businesses
  • Managing legal risk in procurement, supply chains, and contract frameworks
  • Contributing to process development, systems, and delivery models for projects

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Over 5 years of experience as a practising lawyer, ideally with both in-house and private practice experience
  • Strong expertise in construction law, project advisory, or dispute resolution
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in construction contracts
  • Experience advising contractors, subcontractors, and principals on complex projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to assess complex situations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with senior executives and industry experts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
