As a Principal Engineer, you will be integrated into our Asset Finance and Working Capital technology teams, part of the broader Business Banking technology function. Reporting to the Crew Tech Lead, you will spearhead product and feature designs, as well as technical strategies, playing a crucial role in the software engineering lifecycle.
Our Principal Software Engineers are hands-on experts, accountable for substantial segments of large platforms, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

- Lead comprehensive greenfield solutions from discovery to deployment.
- Embrace a true DevSecOps mindset: build, secure, test, and run.

- Support deployments in our AWS environments through continuous delivery pipelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation while contributing to governance and best practices.
- Act as the technical subject-matter expert, sharing knowledge through workshops and guilds.
We utilize a diverse array of tools, languages, and frameworks. While we do not expect expertise in all areas, familiarity with some will enhance your success:
- Proficient in SDLC and Agile methodologies, with broader experience in architecture, design, implementation, and technology transformations.
- Technologies: .Net Core, APIs, databases, event streaming, data pipelines.
- Coding languages: C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
- DevSecOps tools: CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
