Senior Technical Lead

The ideal candidate will oversee high-quality technical project delivery by leading a multidisciplinary design team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design Oversight: Ensure alignment and integration of design solutions with stakeholders, clients, and construction teams.
  • Project Coordination: Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control expenditures using robust tracking systems to optimize budgets.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards through effective QA processes.
  • Technical Direction: Direct primary and secondary design, conduct design reviews, and collaborate with external consultants on electrical studies.
About You:
  • Proven experience in senior technical roles similar to major energy infrastructure projects (HV/EHV substations).
  • Primary design engineering experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering).
  • CPEng or working towards it.
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia).
