We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women in the Maternity Department at South Coast Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess women's needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and coordinate appropriate care and service delivery
- Work in partnership with women to respect and support their autonomy in pregnancy, birthing, and parenthood
- Participate in the continuity of care practice, empowering women to make informed decisions about their health
- Registered as a Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current practising certificate
- Ability to work creatively and flexibly in a healthcare setting
- High standard of interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team leader
