The Role

We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with 5-8 years of experience in Government procurement or projects, contract law, procurement, or commercial arrangements in a boutique or large legal or consulting firm, or Government department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and contracts law, probity, evaluations, approach-to-market development and tendering, negotiations, and procurement and contract management.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on procurement options, policy, and planning
  • Tender and scope development, including integration and sustainment management
  • Contract drafting, including intellectual property, pricing models, liability frameworks, performance management and KPIs
  • Collaborative contracting models involving industry and key stakeholders
  • Negotiation strategy setting and delivery
  • Contract delivery and management

As a senior member of our team, you will also take a leading role in the day-to-day management and administration of a team of junior personnel and in directly contributing to client relationships and outcomes.
