Diesel Fitter/Mechanic Opportunity

As a skilled Diesel Fitter/Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the marine fleet and associated infrastructure. This exciting opportunity offers flexibility to work in various locations, including Cleveland and Russell Island. Your primary responsibilities will involve day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of vessels across the fleet and other company assets.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Maintain the marine fleet and associated infrastructure in accordance with compliance, environmental standards, and Work Health and Safety obligations.">
  • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on vessels, ensuring they are seaworthy and safe for operation.">
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.">
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve maintenance targets and deadlines.">
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in diesel technology.">
">Requirements:">
  • A Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter/Mechanic or Marine Mechanic qualification is essential for this role.">
  • C Class driver's license is a must-have for this position.">
  • Lift and Shift (LF) forklift license is also required.">
  • A Recreational boat license is desirable but not essential.">
  • Possession of a valid Radio Operator's License is preferred.">
  • A First Aid and CPR certificate is highly desirable.">
  • Confined space and gas test atmosphere training would be beneficial.">
  • Working at heights training is also desirable.">
  • An HR driver's license is necessary.">
